Labor Day Poker Run

Walk or ride the Great Allegheny Passage to checkpoints near West Newton to pick up playing cards in a competitive, fun morning outdoors. At the end of the event, each poker hand is tallied and the person with the best hand in each category receives a prize. Raffle prizes will be available after 10:00 am, and at 11:00 am, the winners of the best hands will be announced along with the winner of a brand-new bicycle. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used by volunteers with the Westmoreland Yough Trail Council to maintain, preserve and enhance the Great Allegheny Passage in Westmoreland County.
