At the west end of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, just off the C&O Canal Towpath, you’ll have 27 miles of paved biking and hiking right at your feet. Immediately to the north-west of the campground is the 49,000-acre Green Ridge State Forest with many hiking trails and scenic spots, as well as developed mountain biking trails.
